I am so excited to announce the first official Gutter Candy Event , ' Le Disko Bloodbath!'. 'Le Disko' was an event I created working in a club last year but I stopped it and gave the original club night a complete makeover. Now,almost a year later were taking to the brilliant Dolan's Warehouse in Limerick.
The night will be fun and quirky from beginning to end.On entry guests will be greeted and covered in a variety of materials such as war paint,glitter and em,blood and then snapped by the Le Disko paparazzi. Once inside the show will feature a list of diverse and purely amazingly talented performers. The night will be hosted by top Irish drag and comedic legend Demi De Whore. The acts range from drag queen such as Dublin's new queen Carrie Deway and Limerick's Heidi Hotlips who will both provide fun and frolics on stage. Live music will be coming from Ireland's premier glamour sex fiend Skinni Colin who will be premiering his single 'Glamour Addict' which will be shown here very soon. More music will be coming from Northern Irish act Mister Underground who will be singing his single 'Heartbreaker'.
Next there will be astounding burlesque from Three-O,a very talented and very beautiful group of girls from Dublin.This is one of the acts that I am very very excited to see and there will be much more written about them here in the future.
More treats include fire acts,dancers,vodka guns,make up,sweets and performances and dj'ing by Candy Warhol & The Mannequins, a bizarre bunch of alter ego's created by myself and my friends ... I will post more about that next week.
