Pada tahun 2006, Agnes terlibat dalam syuting serial drama Asia berjudul The Hospital di Taiwan, di mana Agnes beradu akting dengan Jerry Yan, salah satu personil F4. Agnes juga ikut dalam syuting serial Romance in The White House, di mana Agnes dalam serial ini bermain hanya beberapa episode saja. Adapun kedua serial ini telah ditayangkan di Indosiar. Dalam versi lokal, bagian opening dan ending diedit sedemikian rupa dengan menyisipkan scene yang melibatkan Agnes. Bagi sebagian fans drama Taiwan, penyuntingan ini dianggap memaksa. Sesuai dengan ambisi Agnes untuk ”go international”, di penghujung tahun 2006 Agnes memutuskan untuk tidak melanjutkan kuliahnya di Universitas Pelita Harapan, Jurusan Hukum. Dalam waktu dekat Agnes berencana untuk pindah ke Amerika Serikat dan memulai debut internasional-nya di negeri itu. Pada tahun 2008 Agnes berhasil menjuarai Asia Song Festival 2008 di Seoul, Korea Selatan.
